In the absence of a place to post these comments, I opted to post it here.

Messages in posts have their double quote and right-arrow characters
replaced by ampersand and other keywords. A message appears normally at first
but on subsequent displayes, the text has embedded codes.

It would also be nice if the font size while composing replies were
increased. I work on a 1024 by 768 pixel screen and I have to read this stuff
up real close.
