Microsoft ADO.NET (Core Reference) published May 15, 2002 - covers what
version of ADO.NET? I cannot seem to find it mentioned specifically in
the book itself.

If it's back in 2002, I imagine it would have to be for the 1.0 version of
the framework.

It covers version 1.0, but is still a good book. You might want to wait for the
..NET 2.0 version that comes out in July by the same author (Sceppa).
