Cor L. - Testing Cross-Posthmmm. Did not work. (Now you know why people don't cross-post. It's not
obviuos how to do it!) Show quote "Mark" wrote: > Just testing the Cross-Post option > > Thanks, Mark What are you using to make the post?
I use outlook express, and I just paste in the names of all the newsgroups I want to post to, separated by a semicolon. Works like a charm. I use the msn newsgroup wepage: http://msdn.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.aspx?&lang=en&cr=US&guid=&sloc=en-us&dg=microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.adonet ... And cross posting is not an obvious creature. I think I have it though. Show quote "Mark" wrote: > hmmm. Did not work. (Now you know why people don't cross-post. Exactly, than it is not possible. Can be, however try than to post to the most approperiate newsgroup. Multiposter do often get no or only short answer after a while. Or try to use Outlook for sure a more simple way for visiting a newsgroup. It is not impossible that it starts when you click on this link which is to this newsgroup. news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.adonet Otherwise it has to be as it is. :-) Cor |
