If anyone can share a link to the DIW tips that show me how to take the logon
pgae i created, using the below, to then allow users to update their own
record, I'd appreciate it.  Only the Microsoft link works, not the frontapge
link.  thanks.

1) You will need to set up a member login (so they can get to only their
record)
See http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=321439
2) The you can use the DIW to allow edits of the DB (using the member user
id as a criteria to limit the record to theirs)
See http://www.spiderwebwoman.com/resources/diwtipsandtricks.asp

The second link works.

Try this:   http://www.spiderwebwoman.com/resources/diwtipsandtricks.asp

(The web based version of these newsgroups does some odd things with links)

http://www.frontpagehowto.com/fp2002/fp2002dbinterface.htm  has been
'redesigning' their web site for quite a while now - I don't know what's
going on with them.

What specifically are you looking for?

thanks, K.  How to use the crate a logon page directions, for an access db,
and use those to allow people to update their profiles in my existing Access
db that backbones my FPDBRW.

Do you know if i use one db with a user ID and pw column/field?  I just want
my users to be able to securely access the DIW form page and update their
user info.

thx.
