.NET Framework completly meshed-up

Hi,

I'm running Windows XP SP2 on a tabletpc. After trying installation of SQL
2005 Express, my system is complety meshed-up on framework level.
I tried to roll-back without success.
At this moment installation of .NET framework via Windows Update fails also.
I get a message saying contact Product Support.

Do I have to rebuild the complete system or is their a solution available ?

I'd start with using System Restore. It's really saved by hiney a few times
and it has worked most excellently.
